CEO, Beth Wojick from Athens
This week in Athens for the Special Olympics World Games is hard to
describe. There are 30 venues and thousands of athletes. Our
Washington State athletes on Team USA have been making us proud! The
days are long, but they are focused. There are many new friendships
being made and so many different languages being spoken. Some of the
athletes have today off, so they will be able to see the city. There
are thousands of us walking around with our Games credentials in the
City as we watch history - the protests - from a distance.

The stadium is being prepared for Closing Ceremonies which will come too
soon. For now, it is a beautiful thing to see. Too many incredible
moments to describe!
